Adam served eight years in the U.S. Navy in the fields of anti-terrorism force protection, physical security, and emergency management. During this time, he received two Navy & Marine Corps achievement medals for superior performance of his duties as Watch Commander while protecting National Strategic Assets and in physical security, resulting in “Best in 25 Inspections Worldwide”. Adam completed his Master’s degree in Homeland Security with a concentration in Emergency Management. He then went on to work in the emergency management field for over ten years, working closely with cities and counties across Florida and assisting them with federal policy and grant funding related to hurricane and disaster relief recovery. He held the positions of public assist coordinator, project manager, and director of sales.
